Rick Ramirez is the president of Armadillo Homes' Laredo Division. He has cross-trained within the organization in a variety of capacities; his first job in home building was as a sales consultant for Armadillo. He was also chosen to launch Armadillo's upscale BlueStone Homes Division.

Rick gained extensive managerial experience during his retail career with Stage Stores, Inc., parent company of Bealls, and with JC Penny. He left the retail industry for home building "because I love helping families achieve the American Dream of home ownership."

Fulfilling the American Dream drew Rick to Armadillo Homes but the company's commitment to community keeps him here. "My most memorable experience was participating with Armadillo Homes in Habitat for Humanity and watching a family receive keys to a brand-new home which they would never have had if it were not for the generosity of this company.
